Born and raised in the small town of Pico Rivera, DJ Erok developed a passion for music at an early age; growing up with a big family that would always have party gatherings. Erok learned how to transform that passion into the art of being a DJ. Having learned from vinyl records, Erok’s ear on beat matching, blending, tempo and rhythm transitioning have never stopped growing, but better yet keeps on expanding. Erok has had the privilege to DJ for weddings, quincenera’s, sweet-sixteen’s, corporate events, night clubs, bars, and lounges, schools and private events.
A Dj for 9 years, Erok specializes in weddings, sweet-sixteens, and bar lounges as he has learned to develop and use his voice as a very valuable way to interact with whatever crowd is thrown his way. As an open format DJ he has learned how to strategically uses music to take people on a ride through time. “I feel like no matter who you are, there will always be that one song that puts a smile on your face, or happiness in your heart; and the goal is to hit that one for every person in the audience.”
Erok has polished a very entertaining yet professional personality to create the Dj he has become today. He has shown his talent at venues such as: Spikes Bar, Sportman’s Lounge, Bar Louie, Vizons Nightclub, Luminaries and many more. Erok can adapt to any venue for any crowd when you put the entertainment in his hands.
Erok explains, “I have always reflected back on my favorite quote in not just being a DJ but in my life; which is by Muhammad Ali – “Impossible is Nothing”.”
