Let’s take a minute to think about all of the lessons that 2021 brought for us. Did you take a minute? Good. Now let’s move on and make things happen in 2022.
We won’t forget all of the good times that we had in 2021, but as an entertainment company, we are more interested in making better times for the coming year. One thing is for sure, our company is here to stay. We survived one of the most tragic events that our generation has ever suffered. We lost people, we lost events, but we never lost our way. The Journey Continues!
Have you thought about what you want out of the next year? If you have, we hope that you accomplish all of your goals. Here’s a good list of things to keep in mind as you head forward into the new year and make things happen.
Take things in Small Steps
You don’t need to make a million dollars in January. That’s not how anyone reaches success. Have you heard the famous saying, -Rome wasn’t built in a day-. Take things one day at a time, set realistic expectations, and accomplish small steps that are going to turn into bigger steps in the long run.
Being the best version of yourself takes time and shouldn’t be rushed.
Stop and Look at What You Have Accomplished
Sometimes we get so stuck on looking at the larger goal, that we forget to realize we reached a bunch of little goals.
Take the time to congratulate yourself for losing those 5 pounds, or saving those $100 dollars. Those are accomplishments that you didn’t have prior to reaching them. Celebrate and keep going. It’s so important to recognize that you are making progress towards the bigger picture. It’s like taking small bites out of a large plate. You get to see that little by little, the plate is getting smaller.
Stay True To Yourself
Don’t set yourself up for failure. Know your limits and work with the things that you know you are good at. Take time to reflect on your strengths and weaknesses. You are not perfect and capable of doing absolutely everything all of the time. Finding the right people to do the work that you can’t is going to be key in making your goals reachable.
